Settlement Agreements
We frequently act for employees who have been asked to sign a settlement agreement. Whether you a have alternative plans for the future including new employment we will advise you on your rights and seek to negotiate better terms.
By law, employers must ensure that their employees receive independent legal advice a contribution to legal costs if the agreement is signed. The standard is £450-500 excluding VAT and in most cases we will act for the fixed fee without charge to our client.
We provide a free of charge legal advice session consisting of 30 minutes of advice and assistance to provide an initial assessment of your case. For those who are members of the National Gamekeepers' Association, the Game Farmers' Association and various other organisations, we provide a free 30 minute legal advice scheme which includes employment law.
